It has come to our attention that many of you may have received emails from the Healthera app stating that you can continue using the Healthera app after 30th September 2021.
The POD will no longer accept prescription requests made via the Healthera App after September 30th 2021. The way the two apps will request prescriptions from September 30th are different and the requests from Healthera will not reach the correct team to be processed.
Please download the NHS app to continue ordering prescriptions ‘online’. If you are unable to provide the app with ID to verify who you are please request linkage codes from the surgery.
We can enable family members, friends or carers to order medication on your behalf if you so wish as long as both individuals are registered at the same surgery.
You will also need to provide a short letter of consent giving your chosen representative permission to act as your proxy on the app
