NHS Patient Contact Details Check

The NHS is currently contacting some patients by text message, email, or letter to confirm that their contact details are correct and up to date.

This is part of an initiative to update patient records, particularly for patients who have not contacted their GP practice for some time.

If you receive a message from the NHS asking you to confirm your address or contact details, please respond as soon as possible.

Keeping your details up to date helps to ensure that:

  • You continue to receive important NHS and GP practice communications.
  • Appointment invitations, test results, and healthcare information can be sent to the correct address.
  • Your registration with your GP practice remains accurate and current.

Please note that if the NHS cannot confirm your details and does not receive a response, this could affect your registration status with your GP practice and may make it difficult to access services in the future.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep patient records accurate and up to date.
